IN ONE FELL SWOOP - Latest Images for Food and Travel Magazine - In The Shops NOW!

IN ONE FELL SWOOP:
A Gourmet Traveller for Food and Travel magazine in which Michael Rafael and I swoop in on the heart of Lancashire, home to impeccable produce, charming inns and rolling countryside, like two Hen Harriers on a windy moor, we are bewitched by the enchanting Ribble Valley...

Crossing the River Hodder at The Inn at Whitewell

Wild flowers by every roadside in the beautiful Ribble Valley.

Bowland Brewery, Holmes Mill, Clitheroe (Recently voted best place to live in England).
Taste the wonderful Hen Harrier at Bowland Brewery, Clitheroe.
Head Chef Lisa Allen, Apple Cheesecake, Head Gardener Phil Dewhurst, Rare Breed Beef at Northcoat
Lancashire Hot Pot at the The Three Fishes Pub, Mitton.
Pendle Hill dominates the landscape (famous for the trials of the Pendle Witches) from the village of Downham.

Emma Robinson & Family lead home the naturally reared herd at Gazegill Organic Farm, Rimington. They rear and slaughter their own beef and I have to say it's the best I'v ever tasted.

Gazegill Organic Beef with potato crostie at La Locanda Restaurant, Gisburn - food at it's absolute best!

Typical Ribble Valley landscape somewhere between Mitton Hall to Cow Ark...
